- Description
- The U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) has a requirement for a follow-on contract to USZA95-98-C-0006 for L-CCS sustainment of Raytheon FLIR Systems. The current contract expires 31 Dec 2002. The Government intends to award the follow-on contract on a sokle source basis to Raytheon Systems Company, Sensors and Electronic Systems, 2000 East El Segundo Blvd., El Segundo, CA 90245. Although the Government intends to award on a sole source basis, any offeror showing interest in this procurement by submitting a proposal will be considered as required by law. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued prior to 1 October 2002 for an anticipated award on or before 1 Jan 2003. The period of performance will be from 1 Jan 2003, with options to renew for four additional years for a total of five years. this effort will continue to provide sustainment for joint service customers. The places of performance will be Ft. Campbell,KY; Ft. Eustis, VA; Moody AFB, GA; and Contractor's facility in CA. The statement of work and all associated provisions and clauses will be issued with the solicitation document. The solicitation document will be posted to this site, to include a downloadable file for retrieving the document, and also to the Interagency Business Opportunities Page (IBOP)(http://abop.monmouth.army.mil) Any associated information, i.e. messages, notes, amendments, etc. may appear at either site.
