- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ), F38601-03-Q-S054. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-12. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 337215. Only faxed or e-mailed quotations will be accepted, and request must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification ? Commercial Items, name, address, cage code, DUNS number, and telephone number with its offer. In addition, the following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items, (Price and delivery [FOB destination is desired], in order of importance); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Status of Executive Orders ? Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement. All contractors must be registered with the Central Contractors Registration to be eligible for award. This procurement is for the procurement and installation of a permanent, ?Space-Saver? (or equal), heavy-duty storage system at Shaw AFB, SC. BASIC SPECIFICATIONS: - One usable storage space of at least 2,400 cubic feet confined to an overall space not to exceed 36? x 14? x 7? - System desired should have a combination of slide out drawers and enclosed bins to support up to 400 pounds. Further devices are required to store overly large and heavy items (up to 85 pounds per item) - Drawer dimensions from 24? x 36 - 48?, varying in height from 6? to 27? - System must be adaptable to eccentricities of room (electrical boxes and wall outlets) - Two storage bins (14? x 2? x 4?) with oil and fuel resistant counter-tops, in addition to previously identified drawer requirements - One (for other than tool) storage bin (10? x 2? x 4?) with four outer large drawers with interior shelves, counter-top to be oil/fuel resistant - One (6? x 3? x 5?) work bench, with interior storage space - Installation to be completed no later May 1, 2003 - Warranty terms requested with offeror OFFERORS COMPANY NAME AND ADDRESS: _______________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________ Quoted By: _____________________________________________ Quote Price: ____________________ FOB Destination?
