Description

NA The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona intends to negotiate and award a firm-fixed price research and development contract on a sole source basis to Arizona Public Service (APS), PO Box 53933, Phoenix, AZ 85072-3993. In accordance w ith a cooperative research and development agreement (CRADA) established between USAYPG and APS for the research and development of Photo Voltaic (V) energy and alternative energy sources this contract will provide solar hot water systems for two buildings , provide the Energy Efficient Demonstration Building with a Photovoltaic system, and provide for a Photovoltaic cart charging shade structure for the purpose of joint data collection and sharing. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 221119. Award of these requirements shall be in accordance with FAR Par 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 ? Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Note 22 applies to the acquisition except that the number of days is reduced from 45 to 5 days.
