- Description
- Non-Personal Services: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform refuse and recycling services at SHAW AFB, SC. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 562111 ($10.5 Mil). A firm-fixed price contract will be issued. FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, shall be used for this procurement. In accordance with FAR Part 19.1005, Small Business Competitivenes Demonstration Program, this acquisition will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. The anticipated contract period is One Base Year of 6 months (1 April 03 thru 30 Sep 03) with 7 Option Years. Contractor will be responsible for collection and disposal of refuse and recycled material on Base and Military Family Housing; to include operation of a Recycling Center. Additional details will be included in a forthcoming solicitation, Request For Proposal, F38601-03-R-0001, and any amendments thereto, will be issued via the Electronic Posting System (EPS) only. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-NOV-2002). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 04-MAR-2003.
