- Description
- Corporate solicitation for items manufactured in accordance with Navistar part numbers. All NSNs are available for download under the "Acquisition download"menu item on the DSCC Internet Bid Board System(DIBBS)under subject heading "DSCC Corporate Contract Solicitations". Access is directly available by accessing http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. Access is also available via the World Wide Web at http://www.dscc.dla.mil/programs/corporate_contracts/cc.asp. FSCs to be covered under this project is listed below. Items will be procured as "All or None" per NSN. There is a potential to add other center items at a later date. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. See Note(s):12 and 26. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of 24 March 2003. Specifications,plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years)shall not exceed 5 years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class:2510,2520,2530,2540,2590,2805,2815,2910, 2920,2930,2940,2990,3020,3040,4310,4320,4330,4440,4710,4720,4730, 4810,4820,5910,5920,5930,5935,5945 and 6625. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
