Description
NA NETCOM/9th Army Signal Command has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services in support of high school/university ROTCs in the state of Virginia. The proposed contract is for one year with four one-year option periods. The local exchange service provider certified by the state of Virginia PUC shall provide local commercial communication service for Chatham High School (Chatham, VA), Dan River High School (Ringgold, VA), Franklin Military School (Richmond, VA), George Wyt he High School (Richmond, VA), Greenville High School (Emporia, VA), Grundy High School (Grundy, VA), Huguenot High School (Richmond, VA), Hurley High School (Hurley, VA), JFK High School (Richmond, VA), John Marshall High School (Richmond, VA), Manchester High School (Richmond, VA), Meadowbrook High School (Richmond, VA), Petersburg High School (Petersburg, VA), Prince George High School (Prince George, VA), Surry County High School (Dendron, VA), and the University of Richmond (Richmond, VA). Local commu nication service shall include, as a minimum, one flat rate business line at each school with JFK High School receiving two lines. All responsible sources responding to this synopsis must indicate, in writing, whether they are large, small, disadvantaged, and/or women-owned business. For this acquisition a concern will be considered small under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) under 517110. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format contained at FAR Part Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice for this solicitation; quotations are being requested via the Interactive Business Opportunities page.
