- Description
- The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis with Children's Hospital, 111 Michigan Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20010 to modify and extend contract 240-97-0026 for six (6) months through September 24, 2003 in order to continue to provide technical assistance to HRSA Grantees and the Federal Programs Support. It is necessary to extend the contract because the work is essential in order to meet the needs of the HRSA grantees and the Federal Programs Support without major interruption in services. The services currently being provided are technical assistance to states, organizations, and individuals pertinent to the emergency care of children and adolescents sustained as the result of severe injury and trauma, and provide program support to the EMSC program. Children's Hospital is deemed the only responsible source capable the required work and services under the authority in 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), only one responsible source.
