Description
Provide labor, materials, tools, and equipment, and design-build services necessary for design and construction of project 508-PSL-0301, Nuclear Medicine Equipment Site Preparation. Work includes architect-engineer services, general construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and demolition required for all work associated with preparation of room for installation of a new Millennium VG in accordance with GE site prep manual, preparation of room for installation of Optima Nuclear Imaging System and move system from current location in accordance with Optima Nuclear Imaging System Manual, Optima Modality Installation planning and the Entegra P&R Site Preparation Directions. Cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Completion time is 120 days. NAICS Code 235990 applies. This solicitation is issued under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program for full and open competition. All reponsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the VA. Proposals submitted in response to this solicitation will be evaluated in accordance with the following factors: 1. Cost; 2. Construction Management; 3. Past Performance; and 4. Schedule. All technical factors when combined are approximately equal in importance to cost or price. Offerors should note that award may be made on the initial proposal and the lowest cost/price alone will not necessarily be awarded the contract. Award will be made to the offeror whose overall offer (both technically and cost/price) is most advantageous to the Government. The solicitation package should be available on or about 3/28/03. This procurement is subject to the availability of funds. Solicitation will be available electronically; however, drawings are available in hard copy only.
