- Description
- The purpose of this modification is to provide answers to questions, which have been posed by potential offerors. Question 1 What is the height of the armature centerline of the UD T 5000 Shaker in the horizontal orientation that the slip plate will interface with? Answer to Question 1 The height of the center line for the UD T5000 shaker is 34.5 inches from the base. However, there is a steel plate existing on our seismic mass that the slip plate will sit on. The height of this plate is approximately 13.25 inches from floor. Therefore the slip table will have to be raised approximately 21.25 inches (minus the height of your system). The quote should account for minor changes in center line for the possibility of a different shaker system being purchased. Question 2 What is the interface bolt pattern of the existing steel plate on NRL's seismic mass? Answer to Question 2 The steel plate to interface with has no specified bolt pattern. It has a substantial amount of space for securing options.(i.e. on top, or on the side) Question 3 What is the insert size and the thread of the T5000 Shaker that will be ordered? Answer to Question 3 This is still being thought of. We are considering 1/2-20 hex head, and 3/4-10 hex head. You should allow for either option. Question 4 Are pictures available of the seismic mass and existing setup? Answer to Question 4 Pictures are not available.
