Description

UPDATE: Prebid conference is tentatively scheduled for March 26, 2003 at 10:00 am at the Federal Correctional Institution Milan, MI. An NCIC must be completed prior to meeting. NCIC Form and instructions will be posted on this site. Plans and specifications estimated to be posted on 3/19/2003. All information related to this project will be available at www.fedbizopps.gov. Bids will be sent, or handcarried, to Cindy Townsend, TowerII, 8th Floor conference room, 400 State Street, Kansas City, KS 66101. Estimated date is April 22, 2003 at 1:00pm. Work will be done within the confines of the Federal Correctional Institution. Work consists of demolition, excavation, and construction within the secure perimeter of the institution. The tunnel top replacement locations are specified on the plans and specfications. The approximate square footage of tunnel top replacement is 1172x7. The side walls to be replaced are located within the "Inside Yard". The approximate square footage of side wall replacement is 1000ft x 6ft. All responsible bidders will be considered. Solicitation, drawings and all related information will be published on www.fedbizopps.gov. There is no charge for this information. A pre-bid conference will be scheduled and advertised at a later date. All dates are estimated. The procurement is full and open.
