- VENDOR QUESTIONS/ANSWERS 01) Is there a NAICS code assigned to this procurement? 611430 02) What contract type is the government anticipating? Doc Type 30, Request, Authorization, Agreement and Certification of training (SF-182) 03) Is there funding approved for this contract? If so, what is the funding ceiling? Funding is approved 04) Will the contractor merely provide instructors to an already-developed course? The contractor will develop and deliver the course. 05) Is there an incumbent? If so, who? The University of Southern California 06) How many courses/year? This is for one course only. 07) In regards to the opportunity outlined below, can you please tell us if this training will be delivered via stand-up classroom instruction, CD-ROM (multimedia), Internet or some combination? Stand up classroom. 08) How many days or hours is the course? Length of course is dependent upon course curriculum developed by contractor. Estimated between 3-5 days. 09) The location for training says "Contingent upon award." Are we to assume your going to reimburse all travel expenses? If not, we will need to know the locations of training to incorporate travel costs into our fee. Training facility/location will be determined by awardee. CG members will travel to training location. 10) Who is the target audience? More specifically, what is the definition of "supervisors" in terms of aviation rates (i.e. AMT, AVT, AST) and ranks (i.e. E-6 and above)? Aircraft Maintenance Supervisors at all levels. Usually E-6 thru O-4 11) Is exportable training (road show) an acceptable option for training delivery or is a resident course preferred? If a resident course is preferred is it to be held at a government facility or at a facility provided by the contractor? Resident course 12) What is the desired start date of training, i.e. when is the first class to start? Training should start after 28 April 2003. 13) Other than the instructor and the course of instruction, is all other material and support, such as classrooms, projectors etc.. GFM? NO, Vendor supplies all 14) What, if any are the minimum qualifications for the instructor? Experienced Aviation Industry Professionals. 15) Is best commercial practices acceptable for the course development and lesson plans?
