Description

MODIFICATION TO SYNOPSIS TO CHANGE SOLICITATION PACKAGE ISSUANCE DATE AND THE RESPONSE DATE FOR PROPOSALS. For technical questions, contact Billy Ellis, 530-620-9401. This solicitation is for the replacement of two trail bridges in the South Shore area of the Lake Tahoe Basin. The bridges will be glued laminated girder construction with concrete abutments and wing walls. This contract includes excavation, bridge construction, trail approaches, and material for construction. Additionally, the contractor shall be responsible for the removal and disposal of an exisiting 25 foot timber stringer bridge and the removal of a single log stringer bridge. The government estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. There WAS a non-mandatory pre-posposal meeting on October 24, 2002 at 11 am at the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit (LTBMU) office (THERE WILL BE NO OTHER PRE-WORK MEETING). The solicitation package will be available approximately March 18, 2003. Response date is April 18, 2002 at close of business (4:30 pm). NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (03-MAR-2003). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 07-MAR-2003.
