- 1. 5895-01-447-9963 Rectifier Assembly part number 10397-5410-01 a quantity 5 ea ;2. 5895-01-447-6400 Assembly Tank RF-755 Mod part number 10397-3700-01 and a quantity of 8. The U.S. Coast Guard intends to award a sole-source contract to Harris Corp. Communications Group., Rochester, NY, to repair Rectifier Assembly and Assembly Tank RF-755 Mod. This equipment is used in shipboard communications. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to this procurement are not available and cannot be provided by the Government. This information is proprietary to Harris Corp. Communications Group. These parts are necessary for compatibility with the existing CEXH-RF-755A 10KW Transmitter. The Subject retrofit will standardize this class vessel to be full follow-up.Offerors who can perform the identical repairs required above may submit, in writing, a proposal substantiated by technical data, brochures, pictures, etc., to include pricing data. All responses must be received within 5 calendar days of this CBD notice, addressed to U.S. Coast Guard Engineering and Logistics Center, Mail Stop 26, Attn: Bridget M Brown, 2401 Hawkins Pt. Road, Baltimore, MD, 21226. Fax quotes are acceptable. The fax number is 410-762-6226. There is no solicitation available at this time. This is a commercial item repair and the solicitation will be prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12. All responses submitting the required information will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to the synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that the action may be competed. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice are solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
