Description

UNICOR intends to enter into a firm fixed price requirements type contract for hardware items. The solicitation number is FN1159-03 and this solicitation is issued as an Request For Proposal (RFP). Items 0001 ? HWS3135, Wire-Way, J Channel, 8?L, 1?x1-1/2?x8?, U/I; Each, Est. Qty: 15,000. Delivery shall be 30 days for initial order and 14 days for every delivery order thereafter. Period of Performance is date of award through five (5) years thereafter. Variation in quantity is +/5%. The minimum delivery order quantity is 1,000 each, the maximum delivery order quantity is 8,000 each. THERE IS NO PRIOR PROCUREMENT HISTORY AS THIS IS A FIRST TIME BUY FOR UNICOR. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and award on an all or none basis. Offers shall submit signed and dated offers to UNICOR, Office Furniture Group, 320 First Street NW, 400 Building, 7th Floor, Washington, DC 20534, ATTN: Bid Custodian. Solicitation number shall be referenced on the envelope for all offers. Fax proposals are accepted by the offer closing date and time at 202-305-7337. An original copy of the offer shall be mailed to the Bid Custodian within 2 days of offer closing date. Offers received after the exact time and date specified will not be considered. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, past performance, technical and price factors considered. This is a best value procurement. No copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Solicitations may be obtained from our website at www.unicor.gov and www.eps.gov. All responsible offerors may submit an offer which will be considered. The solicitation will be available on UNICOR?s website and www.eps.gov on or about March 11, 2003.
