Description

The Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate (AFRL/MN), Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit a sole source firm fixed price contract from DRS Hadland, Inc., 4000 Moorpark Ave., Suite 110, San Jose, CA 95117 for 1 each Imacon 200 Ultra High Speed Framing Camera System (16 Frames of 1280 x 1024 x 10 bit CCDs, high resolution MCP tubes fiber coupled to CCD, with Nikon lens mount, focus monitor, Nikon 70-300 mm lens, optics kit, 10 meter f/o cable, control computer and control software, all power supplies, power cable, manual, shipping case), and Installation and Training for Camera System. No equals will be accepted. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written request for quotation will not be issued. The reference number for this acquisition is F08630-03-C-0070. This solicitation has incorporated provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334119. Please identify whether you are a small or large business based upon this NAICS; small business size standard: 1000 employees. This requirement is for 1 each Imacon 200 Ultra High Speed Framing Camera System (16 Frames of 1280 x 1024 x 10 bit CCDs, high resolution MCP tubes fiber coupled to CCD, with Nikon lens mount, focus monitor, Nikon 70-300 mm lens, optics kit, 10 meter f/o cable, control computer and control software, all power supplies, power cable, manual, shipping case), and Installation and Training for Camera System. The Imacon 200 Ultra High Speed Framing Camera System (16 Frames of 1280 x 1024 x 10 bit CCDs, high resolution MCP tubes fiber coupled to CCD, with Nikon lens mount, focus monitor, Nikon 70-300 mm lens, optics kit, 10 meter f/o cable, control computer and control software, all power supplies, power cable, manual, shipping case), and Installation and Training for Camera System, must be delivered to the Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate no later than 8 months after receipt of order on an FOB Destination basis.
