Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) sub part 12.6., as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a proposal is requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) FB206730350371. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, GA contemplates negotiation on a full and open competition to procure for purchase of the following items. Carbon Dioxide Dry Ice Pellets, TECH 99.995%, total quantity 90,000 lbs. 1,500 lbs per box is the estimated quantity. A 10% variance in quantity applies to this item. Carbon Dioxide Dry Ice, TECH 99.995%, solid form 55 lb block, 160,000 lbs. Dry Ice requires insulated, reusable, front opening containers. Container will be property of the contractor, provided for Government Use Only. Deliveries will be made to three locations on base. The period of performance is April 2003 to April 2004. Carbon Dioxide Dry Ice Pellets will be delivered to Building 125 every Wednesday (excluding holidays). Vendor will deliver one container of dry ice pellets (estimated weight 1300-1400 lbs) and containers must be front opening. Vendor must provide front opening containers. Delivery hours are 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. One front opening container of Dry Ice 55lb blocks will be delivered to Building 169 every Wednesday (excluding holidays). Delivery hours are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Vendor must provide front opening containers. One front opening container of Dry Ice 55lb blocks will be delivered to Building 140 every other Wednesday. Delivery hours are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Vendors must provide front opening containers. The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Price. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-07. NAICS is 325120. Assets shall be shipped FOB Destination. The following incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-07 and are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items; IAW clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be: Price and Price related factors, Conformance to performance specifications FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items; Offerors must include (1) a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, (2) Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, Contractor Establishment Code (DUNS number), and Tax Identification number; 52.211-15 Defense Priority and Allocation Requirements; 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer -- Central Contractor Registration; 52.247-1, Commercial Bill of Lading Notations; 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, and all applicable provisions required by Statute, Executive Order, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and FAR Supplements. All FAR provisions and clauses may be reviewed and/or obtained from the General Service Internet address http://farsite.hill.af.mil.
