Description
Below is a brief synopsis of requirement. For complete specifications please contact the POCs above. Provide equipment and include installation, certification of system capability, training to unit personnel, and follow on support. Supply an electronic security system at RAF Fairford United Kingdom. The required operational capability is to provide early intruder detection and warning in order to enhance force effectiveness. The requirement is to secure the perimeter and all key assets at the installation; provide a rapidly deployable, portable and relocatable early detection warning and reporting capability to the Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC)/Central Security Control (CSC), which shall include visual verification via wireless visual imagery of an intruder occurrence during 24 hour day/night, all weather conditions. The system shall primarily be used to protect high value equipment at RAF Fairford, UK from threats of tampering, theft, malicious damage, sabotage and terrorism. Therefore the system must be able to effectively detect a small adult crawling, walking or running within its detection range. The system shall notify security forces when attempts at physical interference or damage take place. Concept of Operation. The overall system design and sensor operation must provide for maximum flexibility and adaptability as no two operations are alike and the sensor suite must be adaptable to a wide variety of possible configurations and uses. In general the system shall be deployed by supporting security forces that shall be responsible for its set up, use and tear down and subsequent preparation for air transport. The standalone units, control/camera system shall be easy to use and able to be maintained by non technical personnel. The system shall be capable of reaching operational readiness within 30 minutes of deployment.
