Description
NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes a Request for Quote DAHA14 03 T 5700. No written RFQ exists and WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This requirement is for 5 each Double Studio Suites and 3 each Studio Suites hotel lodging for period 30 March to 30 September 2003 for the Kansas Army National Guard, Topeka, Kansas. THE HOTEL LODGING MUST BE LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF TOPEKA KS. The hotel rooms MUST be studio type and have a kitchenette which includes Microwave, Refrigerator, Stove Top, and kitchen cooking and eating utensils; double bed; desk and chair; cable TV; local phone; and computer hoo kups. The hotel rooms must be located at the same location and be available the entire time of occupancy (30 March to 30 September 2003). The hotel complex MUST provide washer/dryer laundry facilities to allow occupants to do their own laundry. Quotes w ill be evaluated as to the best value to the government, price and other factors considered. The hotel facility will be evaluated on location, all units within the same location, and the condition of the hotel and furnishings. Award will be made based o n the best value to the Government. All technical evaluation factors other than cost and price, when combined, are approximately equal to price. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions (Apr 1998) and the clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract terms and conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Jun 1998) applies to this acquisition. Under paragraph b, the following clauses are incorporated: 52.203-6, Restrictions on Subcontractor Sales to the Government, w ith Alternate I, 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; 252.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans; 52.225-3, Buy American Act-Supplies. The clause 52.232-33, Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds Transfer Payment (Aug 1996) applies to this solicitation. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes to Defense Acquisition of Commerical Items (Nov 1995), is applicable to this acquisition.
