Description

NA Maintenance dredging of approximately 500,000 cubic yards to the required depths of 14 to 17 below Mean Low Tide and 2 feet allowable overdepth for the Navigation Channel and the required depth of 30 feet and 2 feet allowable overdepth for the Impoundment Basin. The material will be deposited in a designated beach placement area. No levee work will be involved. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $17 Million and will be advertised UNRESTRICTED. Bid Opening will be held in Room 185 at 2:00 p.m. The Galveston D istrict's Subcontracting goals are: Small Business - 57.2%; Small Disadvantages Business 8.9%; Women-Owned Small Business -8.1%; Hubzone Small Business 3.0%; Service-Disabled Vetern-Owned Small Business -3.0%. The Plans and Specifications will be provide d Web or Internet. The Contractor is responsible to download plans & Specs including Amendments. However,the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation.
