Description
The 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg AFB, CA, is soliciting offers to provide an OptionPower system with 78 infrared handheld keypads to be broken down over 7 rooms. This system will also include the game show module. The contractor will provide all non-personal services: furnish all parts, labor, tools, materials, supervision, and facilities, (no government-furnished property) and transportation necessary to provide the game show package to be used in training students. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation reference number is FUTRSS30130200 and will be issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation incorporates Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 541511 and the size standard is $21.0 M. This solicitation is set aside for small businesses. There are 5 CLINs for this quote. CLIN 0001- OptionPower V1.1 licenses with game competition. The system itself will consist of 78 keypads broken down over 7 rooms. The software must be visually attractive and appealing as well as fun and must emulate the games and rules of both Jeopardy and Millionaire as a minimum. The hardware/software package must permit students as both individuals and teams to provide responses using remote transmitters with the software tabulating the result in terms of a team score and individual scores on the fly during the game as well as providing an individual’s miss rate by question and individual question miss rates for later analysis. The hardware/software package must be sufficiently portable as to allow it to be moved from one location to another with a minimal setup period. The software must be intuitive for instructors to learn to construct their quizzes, preferably as an add-on to already existent PowerPoint courseware files. The hardware/software package should be approved for use in a classified environment. CLIN 0002-Will include infrared base station transceiver. 0003-Will include OptionFinder infrared keypads. 0004-Will include custom system cases. 0005-Will include 8 hours of training, including costs of travel and lodging. FOB destination Vandenberg Air Force Base. This service is being procured under, and will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The provision at FAR 52.212-1-- Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items (Oct 2000) applies to this acquisition.
