- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.106, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions & clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-10. This solicitation is for an upgrade to the AVID Symphony PC. The items are XPRESS 3D TO SYMPHONY PC SYSTEM ID 1417807958, DONGLE 54820856 1 EA, ADD 8 CHANNEL AUDIO I/O 1 EA, SINGLE DISPLAY CONTROLLER, MERIDIEN 3 BASE BOARD 1 EA, MERIDIEN 2/3 3 D CONNECTOR 1 EA, COMPAQ W8000 CPU W/512 MB RAM 1 EA, MEMORY, 256 MB RAM FOR COMPAQ W8000 2 EA, DUAL LVD ADAPTER W/CABLES 1 EA, IS 146/320 MEDIA DOCK SHUTTLE 4 EA, KIT, DUAL 22'' HIGH RES MONITORS PLUS CABLES 1 EA, ON SITE INSTALLATION, SINGLE SYSTEM INCLUDING TRAVEL EXPENSES 1 EA. (SEE NOTE 22 BELOW; SOLE SOURCE REQUIREMENT) The SIC code that applies to the principal nature of the contract is 7379; the North American Industry Classification Code is 541519. The FOB is destination. Destination and 52.253-1 Computer Generated Forms. In addition, the following clauses shall also be applicable to this solicitation. The solicitation, notice and all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) site at www.eps.gov.
