Description
The 42d Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB AL is seeking market research for airport shuttle services. The associated NAICS code is 485999, All Other Transit and Ground Passenger Transportation, with a small business size standard of $6.0M. This is not a solicitation or indication a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. Information is for planning purposes only. Do not send proposals. This sources sought synopsis is seeking small businesses capable of performing the following statement of work. If sufficient small businesses do not respond, this requirement could be solicited on an unrestricted basis, therefore all interested parties should respond. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT SOLELY ON THE BASIS OF THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED. Basic Requirement: The United States Air Force, Arnold Air Society (AAS) requires shuttle transportation support for approximately 1000 travelers, as follows: 1. From the Houston Hobby and Houston Intercontinental Airports on Friday, 17 Apr 2003, to the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Projected hours of operation are approximately 1200-1900 hours. 2. From the Hyatt Regency Hotel on Tuesday, 22 Apr 2003, to Houston Hobby and Houston Intercontinental Airports. Projected hours of operation are 0600-1100 hours. Specific flight arrival and departure information is not available at this time. The final schedule may be adjusted slightly when travel schedules become available. Maximum wait time by conference attendees should not exceed 30 minutes at the airport or at the hotel. Option: Additional Services The Arnold Air Society will provide at least 48 hours notice to vendor for any additional transportation support requirements. Vendors must include an hourly surcharge should transportation be required beyond the basic agreement.
