Description

The U.S. Air Force Academy intends to solicit proposals for the Repair, Maintenance, and Construction of Playing Courts to include indoor and outdoor tennis courts, outdoor basketball courts, and outdoor hardball courts. This solicitation will be competed on an Unrestricted basis for full and open competition to NAICS Code 235990, All Other Special Trade Contractors, which applies to business size $10 million. The resulting contract shall be a Firm-Fixed Price contract for the period of a Base Year (30 MAY 03 thru 30 MAY 04) plus four Option Years. Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Delivery Order Contract with a total estimated construction magnitude between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 for a Base Year plus Four Option Years. The Minimum amount to be awarded under this contract will be $300,000.00 for the base year only. The maximum amount for the base year and each option year will be $1,000,000.00 each. Labor Rates shall be governed by Wage Decision #CO020012 for the Colorado Springs area. Projects at the United States Air Force Academy must have projects completed in a timely manner due to stringent and unchanging cadet schedules. All discussions leading to the contract award shall take place at the Contracting Office for the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado. It is anticipated the Solicitation and all specifications and drawings will be available electronically for release approximately 1 APR 2003.
