Description

NA USACE, Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC) requires the services to design and conduct laboratory tests for chemical release and longevity, manufacture sufficient prototypes for testing and evaluation, and assist with field trials of non-tox ic repellents specific to the red imported fire ants (Solenopsis invicta) at Fort Hood, Texas. Period of service will be no later than 30 September 2003. This proposed procurement will be issued on a sole-source basis. The Contracts Office intends to ne gotiate a firm fixed-price order with BioGuard Research and Development Inc due to proprietary considerations. Request for DACA42-03-T-0075 will be issued on or about 27 March 2003 with a closing date on or about 4 March 2003.
