- Description
- Solicitation N00421-03-Q-0027 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed contract on a sole source basis with Applied Companies, 28020 Avenue Stanford, Valencia, CA 91355-1105 for the part number listed below. This action is under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. Due to logistical considerations the ECUs must be identical to previously fielded units supplied by Applied Companies. The contract line item numbers and descriptions are ** CLIN 0001 Quantity 2 each, P/N AC-119-18, ECU Olive Drab Green 383; **CLIN 0002 Quantity 2 each, P/N 50025, Duct Mounting Transition Assembly. Award is expected 15 May 2003. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received by 24 March 2003. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government will not pay for any information received; facsimile proposals are acceptable.
