- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. one (1) TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR MID-INFRARED CAMERA SYSTEM. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to answer the following technical questions. Lens requirements: No lens needed, the customer will use their own optical system for imaging filter requirements, The customer will use their own filtration to image spectral bands, what is required is an ability (external to the camera) to select between three different filters and an open slot. Calibration requirements: The ability to adjust for gain, bias and offset in images. S/W requirements (besides remote control): Graphical User Interface software is needed to control integration time. Frame acquisition requirements: Analog and Digital output, adjustable frame acquisition for improving signal to noise. Note signal to noise requirement must be greater than 70 dB. For those vendors who have already responded with a quote on NAIS, and do not want to revise that quote, an email stating "amendment 1 acknowledged" will be sufficent. The due date for receipt of offers is extended to March 14, 2003. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on March 10, 2003. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet and are in Microsoft Office 97 format and reside on the World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
