Description

The Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) located at Butner, NC, has a requirement for cooking grease collection and disposal from four (4) underground grease traps located within the FCC. The Government intends to make a single award to an eligible and qualified small business (ref NAICS 562998) to provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to satisfy this requirement for a base period beginning with the award and ending 30 Sept 03 plus three option years. Three of the traps are 1500 gallon capacity and one is 2000 gallon capacity. Pumping frequency will be approximately every six weeks. The selected contractor must adhere to all federal, state and local laws concerning collection, transporting and disposal of grease. Contractor personnel working under the resulting contract will be subjected to investigative procedures before entry into the confines of the FCC will be allowed. The contractor is required to have, maintain and show proof of licenses, permits and insurance throughtout the term of the contract and must provide written verification of proper disposal. Solicitation will be available at www.fedbizopps.gov on or after 31 Jan 03, closing date tentatively established is 21 Feb 03.
