- Project consists of performing mechanical slashing, thinning and release of conifers and hardwoods and cutting of brush species by mastication in tree plantations on the Salmon River and Happy Camp Ranger Districts, Klamath National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. Work involves thin and release of both younger and older tree plantations, site preparation and fuels reduction. Estimated start work date is May 1, 2003. The solicitation will be a request for proposal using evaluation criteria as shown in Section M. Solicitation documents will be available for downloading from this website on or about March 26, 2003.
