Description

Edwards Air Force Base has a requirment for Control System Software Suite Development and Application Integraton to support large rocket engine test stands. The required services is to develope software to interface with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Data Acquisition System (DAS). The contractor shall provide all necessary services and supplies necessary to develop integrated control software suite to control facility, test hardware components, along with real time graphical, data logging, monitoring capabilities in accordance with our detailed specification requirements. CLIN 0002: Delivery of software developed for CLIN 0001, packaging and shipping requirements of software. Destination: AFRL, Edwards AFB CA 93524. Delivery: 6 months from date of contract award. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. TO: The Boeing Company, 6633 Canoga Ave, Canoga Park CA 91309-7922. 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supply or Services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested offerors must submit adequate descriptive literature and evidence to demonstrate their capability to provide such services within cost and time constraints. Firms responding must identify their company's business size and category (ie. SB, SDB, WO, etc.) This information must be provided to AFFTC/PKT, 5 South Wolfe Ave, Edwards AFB CA 93425-1185, Attn: Lesley Eervan, no later than 19 Mar 2003 or faxed to 661-275-7809 or email: lesley.ervan@edwards.af.mil.
