Description: The Naval Air Systems Command intends to contract with Meggitt Avionics, Fareham, United Kingdom, on a sole source basis for the procurement of the CP-2410/A (PN 50-155-01) Hi-Integration Air Data Computers (HIADC). This procurement will provide commonality with the existing production configuration fielded units. The contract will include approximately 45 units in the base year. The HIADC will be installed into the CH-46E platform. Meggitt Avionics is only company with the necessary background, knowledge and experience to produce the unit within the time constraints of the U.S. Navy, without costing the government extra funding to perform additional testing. See note 22.
