- Description
- This is an amendment to the synopsis posted on 19 February 2003 and to the amendment posted on 03 March 2003 for the COBRA JUDY Replacement (CJR) Mission Equipment (ME). The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to post a DRAFT solicitation for industry review and comment on or about 12 March 2003. The DRAFT solicitation will include related files (i.e., RFP Sections A through M, CDRLs, DD254 and statement of work (SOW)). The draft solicitation will be available at www.neco.navy.mil by searching for the solicitation number (N00024-03-R-5333). There are classified attachments to the SOW. These classified documents will be supplied on a CD-ROM which will be mailed separately at a later date. Only one copy of the classified CR-ROM will be distributed per cleared synopsis respondent. Limited reproduction of the CD-ROM is authorized (up to 5 copies). The original CD-ROM and all c opies shall be destroyed upon the release of the FINAL solicitation in accordance with DoD 5220.22M NISPOM. The Government will consider all comments received on the draft solicitation. Any subsequent revision of the DRAFT solicitation remains solely at the Government's discretion. Information submitted must be publicly releasable, as it may be included in future versions of the solicitation or other program documentation. Comments or suggestions to the RFP Sections A through M, CDRLs, Government Work Breakdown Structure and statement of work (excluding the classified attachments) are requested no later than 28 March 2003, via email, to the POC identified in this synopsis. Comments or suggestions to the classified attachments to the SOW are to be submitted in accordance with the DD Form 254 and DoD 5220.22M NISPOM, no later than 01 April 2003 to the POC identified in this synop sis. The Government WILL NOT accept any proposals in response to this announcement or the posted DRAFT solicitation. The Government may not respond to any specific questions submitted in response to this announcement. On or about 26 March 2003 NAVSEA intends to conduct a bidder's conference at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, VA. The purpose of this bidder's conference is to provide industry with an overview of the CJR ME program. This will be a classified bidder's conference. Further information regarding the bidder's conference will be provided separately. Respondents to this synopsis, who have not already done so, should identify a single point of contact, an electronic mailing address, physical mailing address, classified mailing address, CAGE Code, Level of Facility Clearance, and Level of Storage Capability in order to receive the classified CD-ROM. *****!!
