Description: The Securities and Exchange Commission intends to award a sole source contract to Thomson Financials. Thomson shall provide electronic access to databases covering issues of equity, global new issues, and public and private corporate transactions, and municipal new issues to meet the Commission?s requirements. Thomson Financial is the only known source that possesses the historical database capability required by the SEC. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to provide this service, which shall be considered by the agency. See note #22
