Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), Office of the Secretary, has a requirement for the establishment and operation a full service executive dining room for the Secretary of Commerce, Deputy Secretary of Commerce, and approximately 150 senior executives located at its headquarters building at 14th and Constitution Avenue, NW, in Washington, DC. To the extent practicable, the contractor shall provide these services at no cost to the government and recoup operating expenses through charges to the guests of the dining room. Charging of management and/or server fees may be authorized. The contractor shall also cater all official events sponsored and/or held for the Secretary of Commerce, Deputy Secretary of Commerce, and/or the Under Secretaries for Commerce held within the Secretary?s office suites and dining room. The contractor shall provide these services on a task order basis at competitive and commercial rates. Task orders will be coordinated, awarded, and paid by approved Department of Commerce purchase card holders. These services are required for a base year, plus two (2) one year options. The NAICS code for this effort is 722320. A pre-proposal conference will be held on March 25, 2003, and proposals will be due on March 31, 2003.
