- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the inmate population at the Federal Prison Camp at Pensacola, Florida. Services to be provided include inpatient/outpatient facility services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is a fixed price, indefinite delivery/requirements contract. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period and four 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the base period and each option are as follows: Base Year - 80 inpatient days and 970 outpatient visits; Option Year 1 - 90 inpatient days and 1000 outpatient visits; Option Year 2 - 100 inpatient days and 1010 outpatient visits; Option Year 3 - 110 inpatient days and 1025 outpatient visits; Option Year 4 - 120 inpatient days and 1050 outpatient visits. The solicitation will be made available on or about March 31, 2003, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on or about May 1, 2003. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. NOTE: This requirement was previously announced by the South East Regional Office on July 11, 2002 and amended on August 1, 2002. The solicitation was forwarded to the Field Acquisition Office for processing. Please note that the RFP number (31202-0003) is incorrect. The correct solicitation number is RFP 31201-0003.
