- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Business Center (VISN 22), Long Beach, intends to negotiate a sole source commercial item procurement with The Advisory Board Company to allow VISN 22 nurse managers to have membership in their Nursing Leadership Academy. This program assists practicing nurse managers in developing/strengthening leadership skills. It is designed as a turn-key educational program, which includes individual leadership skills assessment as well as on-site training. This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quote. However interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 p.m.on March 17, 2003,local time. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
