Description

The 38 EIG/PKK has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for 375 CS/SCM Scott AFB. The proposed contract is for five years. The local exchange service provider certified by the IllNOIS PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION shall provide local commercial communications service for 375 CS/SCM at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois . Local communications service shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial business lines, analog and or digital subscriber lines, analog and or digital trunks, transport channel services, directory number and number portability, emergency 9-1-1 service, operator and directory assistance, local and Intra-LATA access, and interconnection with Inter-LATA exchange carrier. Competition is open to domestic and foreign sources. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. Sources responding to this synopsis must indicate, in writing, whether they are large, small, disadvantaged and/or a women-owned businesses. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under NAICS Code 517110 with size standard of 1500 employees. In order to be eligible for award of this Request for Proposal (RFP) offerors may be required to have a Basic Agreement with this office. The Basic Agreement documents may be viewed and downloaded from the eps.gov website address: http://www-ext.tinker.af.mil/38eig/pk/pkk/Bizopps/bizopps.asp. The RFP for this solicitation may be viewed and downloaded from the EPS website address: www.eps.gov. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
