Applicable to: F100/200 Engine, F15/F16 Acft. Approx. 3 in Long, 3/4 inch Hihg, 1/2 inch wide Bracket (Mount) for the 4th & 5th Stg. Vane Synchronizing Link Arm PWA Titanium Alloy 1262-3 The Variable Vanes 3 1/2 in. LX 5/8 in. W 3/8 in. Thick. Destination: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Governments Required Delivery: 31 May 2004, 810 ea. Qualification Requirements apply, First Article Required for award other than OEM. The approximate close date will be 28 Apr 03. This item requires source approval in order to insure that prospective offerors are capable of establishing and maintaining effective process control. The reliability of this part is dependent upon establishing and maintaining effective process control; Quality cannot be inspected into this part. This item requires engineering source approval by the Design Control Activity in order to assure that prospective offerors are capable of establishing and maintaining effective process control. The U.S. Government plans to award any resultant contract to United Technologies, Pratt and Whitney, East Hartford CT CAGE 52661, Windsor MFG Co Cage 31417 or Accurate Threaded Products Cage 1A249. However, subcontracting opportunities may be available through the above listed contractors. Companies interested in sub-contracting opportunities should contact the contractors listed above directly as no information is available through the U.S. Government. No telephone requests or fax request will be accepted. The approximate issue date will be 28 Mar 03 and the approximate response date will be 30 Apr 03. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns dealing with this requirement. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or the Contracting Officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
