13 Mar 03 QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS FOR TRAILER MOUNTED GUARD BOOTHS FOR SNOWY PLOVER NESTING SEASON 1. You also list a 20" shelf to be placed in the booth, is there a certain placement for this? A shelf 20? wide placed on the opposite sidewall from the door. 2. What about steps to enter building? There needs to be a step on the trailer to step up to the booth. 3. Need some clarification on the word ?glazing?? Fixed windows on all sides except for a sliding window opposite the door, all window will be fitted with ? tinted tempered glass 4. Is the end user going to unload the materials or will the vendor be responsible to that? The Vender will be responsible for the unloading, loading ramps are available and some assistants may be available with prior coordination 5.On the 1 color paint finish, is that inside & outside, or just inside? The Trailer and the booth should be painted on all sides in and out. And the deck will be painted with a non-skid paint 6.The roof, is it a regular A type roof or a single pitch roof? The roof needs to be sealed and design to drain water. 7. Need to specify size of trailer. The trailer should be a Min. of 6?x6?, not counting the tongue. 8. What are the window sizes? All windows should be around 38? tall and cover the width of each side 9. Is the door a regular standard door? The door should slide open and closed 10. The interior walls ? what do you want those made out of? The interior wall should be painted metal. 11. Will the doors be lockable and if so, with what type of lock? The door should have a keyed lock built in to the door 12. Will lights and a heater be in/on the booth? Lights need to be mounted on the front and the back of the booth two on each side, and an interior light with switch, and two electrical outlets under the shelf. A 1500-watt electric wall heater and a weather tight exterior outlet with a circuit breaker to support the electric system Correction on ?'s: 4 feet x 6 feet on trailer mounted guard booths size. 2 inches X 2 inches X .083 structural steel tube frame. 8 inch fascia and 3 inch overhang on all sides. two outlets under a 20 inch deep steel shelf Delivery date no later than 10 days after contract award.
