- NA This is amendment for combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitati on. Quotes are requested; however, a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number DABJ25-03-T-0043 is applicable and is issued as a request for quotations. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect thro ugh Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-03. The requirement is small business set-aside with a NAICS Code of 335129, SIC Code 3827, and size standard of 500. The description of the commercial item is as follows: Clin 0001: 714 each of M3X Flashlight to inclu de Base unit with Long gun back plate, Plastic Shipping Box, Manual, 4? Remote Switch, IR filter and Spare Bulb. Specification: Size: 96L x 41W x 41H mm or smaller; Weight: 125 grams or less; Battery Type: 2 x 3V Lithium DL123 ; Bulb Type: Xenon Filled In candescent; range: Facial Recognition at least 25 Meters; Mount Interfaces: MIL-STD-1913 Rail Interface; Performance: 125 Lumens (Peak); Battery Life: 60 Minutes Continuous; Waterproof: 20 M (66 Feet); Operational Temperature: -30 degree C to +50 degree C; Storage Temperature: -40degree C to +71 degree C; Temperature Shock: -30degreeC to +50degreeC; Humidity and Vibration meets full Military Specification; Transit Drop: 1 meter onto Plywood; Weapon Shock: M4/M16 300 Rounds Rapid Fire. All 714 units require delivery date of 2 May 2003 or sooner to DOL Central Receiving Point, Fort Lewis, WA 98433-9500. State if FOB is Destination or Origin. If Origin, state shipping charges. Any award resulting from this request for quotations will be made to a responsive , responsible quoter using a SF1449 form. Quotes will be evaluated on interfaces with MIL-STC-1913 Rail Interface, and compatible with PEQ-2A/PAC-4C Remote Cable Switches (NSN 5995-01-454-7124), and meeting the delivery date. Award will be made on an ?al l or none? basis. If quotes are provided for an ?equal? item, specifications must be submitted. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. An addendum to this provision is applicable, in which the term ?of feror? (whenever it appears) shall be replaced with the term ?quoter?. Quoters are required to submit completed copies of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their quotes. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and does not include any addenda. Far clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders, Commercial Items, applies to this acquisi tion. The following clauses within 52.212-5(b) are applicable to this acquisition: 52.203-6, 52.219-8, 52.219-14, 52.222.21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-19, 52.225-13, 52.232-33. The following clause within DFARS clause 252.212-700 1(b) is applicable to this acquisition: 252.225-7001. DFARS clause 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration is applicable to this acquisition.
