NA In support of Project Manager, Standard Integrated Command Post, US Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM), Research, Development and Engineering Center (RDEC) Command and Control (C2D), US Army CECOM is requesting technical information on commerc ially available lithium-ion batteries for military communications and electronics equipment. The following size/technical parameters are of interest: This is a request for information only. The US Army CECOM is requesting technical information on commercially available lithium-ion batteries for military communications and electronics equipment. The following size/technical parameters are of interest: 1) Cylindrical lithium-ion liquid electrolyte cells optimally sized for use in the BB-X600/U (1.55 +/- 0.010 Diameter X 7.32 +/- 0.015 Length) and BB-X800/U (1.398 max Diameter X 5.059 +0.0/-0.039 Length) configurations. 2) Pouch lithium-ion polymer electrolyte cells optimally sized for use in the BB-X590/U (2.45 X 4.4 X 5, all +0/-0.063) configuration. Please provide any brochures, technical information, independent test information, etc and associated costs on cells that meet the parameters above no later than 31 March 2003 to Mr. Louis Jarvis, US Army CECOM RDEC, Building 2700, AMSEL-RD-C2-AP-BA, Ft Mo nmouth NJ, 07703, or email at: Louis.Jarvis@mail1.monmouth.army.mil.
