- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a new Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), N00024-03-G-4052, to United Defense LP, Armament Systems Division, 163 Rochester Drive, Louisville, KY 40214-2683 for the manufacture, overhaul, repair, and life cycle maintenance support, including technical and engineering services, for the MK 45 5? Gun System, MK 75 76mm Gun System, and Minor Caliber Gun Mounts and Equipment; manufacture and engineering support for MK 32 Surface Vessel Torpedo Tubes (SVTTs); manufacture, overhaul and engineering support for MK 36 Decoy Launcher System (DLS); and overhaul and engineering support for the Turbine Pump Ejection System (TPES). The designated ordering activities will issue orders on multiple occasions for system and component manufacture, overhaul, repair, maintenance, installation, spare and repair parts, upgrade kits, technical and engineering st udies and associated life cycle maintenance support services of the above equipment and systems including subassemblies and components. When required, the designated ordering activities will synopsize individual orders placed under the BOA in accordance with applicable requirements. United Defense LP, ASD, Louisville, KY, is the only known company with the requisite technical qualifications and facilities to perform the work in the required timeframe.
