- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia intends to issue an unrestricted solicitation for a firm fixed price contract for the acquisition of maintenance and repair services for the small craft repair function located in Annapolis, Maryland with a base period of 15 February 2004 through 14 February 2005 and four one year option periods. This solicitation is part of a Government cost comparison to determine whether accomplishing the specified work under contract or by Government performance is more economical. If Government performance is determined to be more economical, this solicitation will be cancelled and no contract will be awarded. Offerors are required to submit their proposal in two separate parts: Volume I ? Technical Proposal and Volume II ? Price/Cost Proposal. The applicable NAICS code is 336611. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by FISC Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia. The RFP will be made available electronically, upon its release, which is anticipated on or about 3/28/03 at http://www.neco.navy.mil. All contractors must be registered (http:/www.ccr.gov) in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
