Description

The Naval Hospital, Charleston, SC., requires professional Mortuary Services and requirements, caskets, shipping, containers, transportation, and hygienic practices for the care and handling of deceased personnel. These services will be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), and the Armed Services Specification Care of Remains of Deceased Personnel Regular and Port of Entry Requirements. The area of performance is a 30-mile radius around the Naval Hospital, Charleston, SC. The area of performance also includes, but is not limited to, cities of North Charleston, Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Goose Creek, Summerville, Moncks Corner, and Ravenel. The performance period is a base period with four option years. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 812210 and the Small Business Size Standard is $6.0 Million. This procurement will be awarded using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures outlined in FAR part 13.5, which is the test program. All interested contractors are encouraged to respond via electronic mail to the contracting office point of contact. Interested contractors need to submit the name, address, and phone number of their business, reference number, and a point of contact for consideration.
