- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. This objective of request for quotation (RFQ), number 02DCL310004 is to provide laundry services for the period of 11 months, including pickup of soiled laundry and delivery of clean laundry for approximately 75 Federal Occupational Health Services Health Centers. These health centers are located throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. Solicitation documents, provisions and clauses herein are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items (OCT 2000), and the clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items (MAY 2001), applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall submit a fully executed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items (MAY 2001) with their offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Require to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items (MAY 2001), applies to this acquisition as well as the following clauses cited therein: FAR 53.222-26, Equal Opportunity (E.O. 11246); FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era (29 U.S.C. 793); FAR 52-222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities (29 U.S.C. 793); FAR 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans of the Vietnam Era (38 U.S.C. 4212); FAR 52.225-3, Buy American Act - Supplies (41.U.S.C.) and FAR 52.232-34, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer--Other than Central Contractors Registration (31 U.S.C. 3332). Firms having the ability to provide the services, as stated above, shall provide clear and comprehensive information supporting its claim, inclusive of references listing contact person(s) and phone number(s); GSA schedule number , if applicable; and pricing. Quotation shall reference the RFQ number and be sent to the attention of Bettie Hartley at the above address. Receipt of quote shall be within 10 days from the issuance date of this notice.
