- Description
- The USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is seeking sources capable of providing Mailroom Support Services in the State Office, Temple, Texas. Major mailroom support tasks include general mailroom operations to include receiving, sorting, distributing, collecting, and sending mail. Must have knowledge of FedEx, USPS, and UPS systems. Will assist with vehicle operations tasks and distribute/stock copy paper in the State Office. Government personnel are currently providing these services. NRCS is planning a Direct Conversion with Cost Comparison study. Offerors are advised that a contract may not be awarded if the cost of contract performance is determined to be greater than the cost of in-house performance by Government personnel. This sources sought is NOT a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561210. (6) Request potential offerors include information regarding their qualifications and capacity to perform the work. No solicitation exists at this time. It is anticipated that a solicitation will be released on or about April 21, 2003. The solicitation will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities web site when it is released.
