Description

NA Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, tools, parts, supervision, and transportation necessary to provide a full service maintenance plan to include once a month preventive maintenance services, emergency maintenance service (normal duty hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday), emergency maintenance service (all times other than normal duty hours), semi-annual inspection and testing, and startup inspection on two (2) York 70 ton backup chiller units, one (1) Dunham Bush Chiller Uni t, six (6) DATA AIRE nine tine processed cooling units, eight (8) DATA AIRE nine ton processed cooling units, two (2) Leibert 10 ton processed cooling units, two (2) Baldor motor Cat Water Booster Pumps, one (1) Dunham Bush Pneumatic Control Panel, and one (1) Dunham Bush Compressor and peripheral equipment. All preventive maintenance shall be performed on site and in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer?s specifications and standards. The items listed above are located at the Pentagon, Was hington DC. Offerors must be able to respond to an emergency call within two (2) hours whether it is placed during normal duty hours or other than normal duty hours. The government anticipates a Fixed Price contract with cost reimbursable CLINs for emerg ency calls and major replacement parts. This requirement is for a 12 month base year beginning 1 May 2003 through 30 April 2004 with four 12 month option periods. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration Database (CCR) prior to award of a contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in CCR may render your firm ineligible for award. Registration can be accomplished on www.ccr.gov. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for Small Business and is being issued under the authority of FAR Part 13.5 utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial/Items Services under FAR Part 12. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310 with size standard of $6.0 million . This will be best value procurement. Technical and Price proposals shall be required. Award shall be made to the responsive, responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value to the Government. The anticipated release date for the RFQ is as s oon as practicable but no later than 31 March 2003. Offerors will only be allowed 10 days from release date to submit offers.
