- Description
- The Coastal Systems Station, Panama City, Florida, has a requirement to conduct high-impact shock testing and vibration testing of a Bauer Diesel Compressor (Model C-D/DV/NAVY), a Bauer Electric Compressor (Model Oceanus E3 modified), and a Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Stowage Bag. All high impact shock testing shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-S-901D (Navy). All vibration tests shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-167-1 (Ships). All damage control equipment installed aboard U.S. Navy ships must successfully complete a rigorous test series including tests per MIL-S-901D and shipboard vibration tests per MIL-STD-167 in order to meet certification requirements. Contractor must already be certified shock and vibration tester. Testing must be complete within one week of contract award date. Delivery will be to the Coastal Systems Station, 6703 W. Highway 98, Panama City, Fl 32407-7001. NAICS Code: 541380 applies.
