Description
This is a sources sought announcement. This procurement is pursuant to NAICS Code 561990, entitled, All Other Support Services, with a $6.0 million threshold, to include all subsidiaries and any parent company. Services are for the operation, maintenance and repair of a 115,000-volt substation for General Services Administration, Denver Federal Center, Denver, Colorado. Also included are two circuits, multiple branch lines, switches relays, transformers, etc., feeding approximately 60 buildings. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for over 300 low voltage street and parking pole lights. The resultant contract will be firm fixed-priced for one-year, with four one-year options. The Request for Proposal Number GS-08P-03-JAD-0029 will be issued on or about May 28, 2003, site visit/tour and pre-proposal conference will be held on or about June 11, 2003, and the proposals are due on or about June 30, 2003. The source selection board will hold oral presentations on or about July 9, 2003, with the best value award on or about July 31, 2003. The contractor will have a transition period starting August 1, 2003 through August 31, 2003, at no cost to the government, with the actual performance period commencing on September 1, 2003. Contractors must provide at least 75% in-house staffing to perform services. In addition, the primary staff must be located in the Denver metropolitan area, as there is a one-hour response time for emergencies. Small business firms interested in providing the aforementioned services, must submit their experience by forwarding no less than one example of a similar type service, lasting for at least a 12-month duration, plus a point of contact and current phone number.
