Description
The 311th Human Systems Program Office intends to issue, on a sole source basis, an Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery, Firm Fixed Price Request For Proposal (RFP) under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements" for the production of Next-Generation Portable Therapeutic Liquid Oxygen (NPTLOX) systems. Form/Fit/Function/Description: The NPTLOX system is an FDA approved liquid oxygen (LOX) storage vessel that is capable of distributing gaseous therapeutic oxygen to patients. The storage vessel capacity is 20 liters of LOX. The NPTLOX system is capable of flowing 66 liters per minute at 50 ? 5 psi. The distribution system consists of six outlets, each of which is capable of flowing the entire system capability (up to 66 liters per minute) individually. The system includes a removable accessory kit that contains three (3) each empty humidifier bottles, oxygen distribution hoses, and flow control valves. An Operations and Maintenance Manual shall be provided with each delivered system. Recommended source: Essex Cryogenics of MO, Inc., St. Louis, MO. Quantity: Best Estimated Quantity 503 each. Delivery: First Delivery Order 168 each 120 days after receipt of order. Subsequent delivery orders TBD. Delivery to CONUS & OCONUS destinations. All responsible sources may submit a response that, if timely received, must be considered by the agency. Please note that no telephone requests will be honored.
