Description

This is a combined synopsis/sole source solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), R-5001-00-3-00 a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 339111. The Food and Drug Administration is soliciting for an Edstrom Automatic Rack Flushing System. The system must integrate with the Edstrom Industries Inc., custom-designed and custom-built water sipper system currently in use and must have a stainless steel system with AWS Controller panels with power supply to monitor pressure-reducing stations. System must also integrate with the Edstrom Watchdog computer system. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and transportation to perform the installation of the Edstrom Automatic Rack Flushing System. It is the Government?s intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with Edstrom Industries, Inc., 819 Blake Avenue, Waterford, Wisconsin 53185-4299 for the above item. Vendors who believe they can provide this data are encouraged to provide the following information: descriptive literature sufficient enough to allow NCTR to determine if the party can fully meet the requirements herein; prices, FOB point, point of contact (name and telephone number), GSA contract number, if applicable, delivery date, size of business and payment terms. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
